Manama: Volunteers participating in the ‘Bahrain is Well. Because You Are Its People’ campaign said that opening registration for volunteering came in response to the desire of citizens in the Kingdom of Bahrain to contribute to national efforts, reflecting strong public engagement and community awareness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, participants highlighted their roles across multiple areas, including supporting operations at shelter centres, supervising field teams, contributing to public health measures, and assisting in damage assessment and response efforts. Work is carried out in coordination with relevant authorities and guided by operational requirements.
They noted that organised volunteering under official frameworks enhances coordination, improves efficiency, and maximises impact, particularly in exceptional circumstances. Assignments include receiving reports, directing teams to affected sites, and ensuring follow-up and resource readiness.
Volunteers further said that participation contributes to strengthening community ties, promoting cooperation, and raising awareness of civic responsibility, with continued engagement reinforcing social cohesion and collective resilience.
