Hanoi: The Vietnamese government warned on Friday of a growing outbreak of African swine fever in the country, noting the potential for disruptions to food supply.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the government reported 514 outbreaks since the beginning of the year across 28 of the country's 34 cities and provinces, with authorities having already culled more than 30,000 infected pigs.
The government stated that the risk from African swine fever is rising and is negatively impacting pig farming, food supply, and the environment.
