Manama: Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, has announced that the deadline for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will close on September 12. He urged prospective students to apply promptly as only a limited number of places remain available.
According to Bahrain News Agency, applications are open to individuals seeking to pursue a bachelor's degree, as well as university graduates and professionals aiming to advance their careers through the MBA in International Hotel Management. These programs, based on the global Vatel network's academic model, cater to applicants at various stages of their educational and professional journeys.
Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa emphasized that the bachelor's program in International Hotel Management combines specialized academic study with practical training. This allows students to gain nearly two years of professional experience at hotels both in Bahrain and overseas, alongside studying French. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in hotel and resort management, tourism, and event management, with access to training and employment opportunities both locally and internationally.
The MBA in International Hotel Management, a two-year program, is the first of its kind in the Kingdom. It prepares students for senior roles through a curriculum that covers Tourism and Hospitality Economics, Marketing Strategy, Financial Analysis, Human Resources Management, and Hotel Strategy.
Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa highlighted that Vatel Bahrain offers internationally focused education delivered by faculty with extensive global expertise. He noted that all Vatel Bahrain graduates have received job offers before completing their studies, demonstrating the quality of their preparation and the confidence hospitality employers place in their capabilities.
Furthermore, Vatel has been ranked first in France for the fifth consecutive year and 11th globally in Hospitality and Leisure Management in the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject.
Prospective applicants can complete the application form through the college's website at www.vatel.bh. Additionally, they can visit the Vatel Bahrain campus in Al Jasra from Sunday to Thursday, between 9 am and 3 pm.
