New york: US stock markets declined in midday trading on Friday, with the Standard and Poor's 500 and Nasdaq Composite pulling back from the record highs they reached at the close of the previous session.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Standard and Poor's 500 fell by 0.4% and was on track for its first weekly loss in three weeks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 257 points, or 0.6%, while the Nasdaq Composite slipped by 0.2% after reaching an all-time high on Thursday.
