US Military Completes Strikes on Iranian Targets

Washington: US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the completion of its recent strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure.

According to Deutsche Welle, CENTCOM confirmed that the strikes targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), specifically focusing on air defense sites, radar systems, maritime assets and facilities, mine laying capabilities, and communications sites. These actions were in response to recent alleged attempted attacks by the IRGC on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and against American service members.

CENTCOM clarified that there are currently 50,000 US military personnel stationed in the Middle East, underscoring the significance of the region to US military operations.
