Washington: Data from the US Department of Labor showed that import prices increased more than expected in July.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the report indicated that import prices rose by 0.4% in July, following a downward revision of 0.1% in June. Economists had forecast only a modest increase of 0.1%.
On an annual basis, import prices fell by 0.2% in July compared with the same month last year, matching the decline recorded in June and aligning with economists' estimates.
