University of Technology Bahrain Celebrates 21st Graduation Ceremony under Royal Patronage


Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) celebrated its 21st graduation ceremony, attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony marked the completion of the academic program and highlighted the university’s significant role in higher education and in preparing qualified national cadres to support the Kingdom’s sustainable development. Hesham Al Rayes, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Bahrain of Technology and CEO of GFH Financial Group, expressed appreciation for the continuous support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.



Al Rayes acknowledged the pivotal support from HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and HH Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad, noting its importance in the university’s development and in achieving academic standards and global competitiveness. He emphasized the university’s commitment to developing its educational system, enhancing academic programs, and building strategic partnerships to equip graduates with the necessary skills for the labor market.



Dr. Hassan Ali Al Mulla, President of UTB, emphasized the significance of this graduation as a milestone in the university’s journey, reflecting advancements in infrastructure, academic programs, and teaching methods. He highlighted UTB’s efforts to strengthen its international presence and attract global talent.



Dr. Al Mulla also noted the importance of recent developments such as the World Aquatics Centre of Excellence and student housing, which have attracted international athletes and elevated the university’s stature as a center of academic and sporting excellence. Graduates expressed gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership and university staff, pledging to apply their knowledge in service to the nation.



The ceremony concluded with the honoring of graduates and a reaffirmation of UTB’s commitment to advancing its academic offerings. UTB is accredited both locally and internationally and is recognized in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for its high academic standards, reinforcing its reputation as a leading educational institution.
