Manama: Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, welcomed Brigadier Nicholas Wight-Boycott, Commander of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, along with his delegation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, as well as several officials from the UK Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed his appreciation for the significant role that the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst plays in training and qualifying military leaders. He emphasized Bahrain’s dedication to continuing its cooperation with the UK in areas of shared interest.
The discussion during the meeting focused on joint cooperation and ways to enhance collaboration, particularly in military training and qualification and the exchange of expertise. These efforts aim to support common interests and strengthen the bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
