United Kingdom Joins C-SIPA, Boosting Collective Security Efforts

Manama: The Defence Working Group (DWG) members have expressed their approval of the United Kingdom's accession to the Coalition for Strategic Interoperability and Partnership Agreement (C-SIPA), viewing it as a significant advancement for collective security efforts. They highlighted that the UK's expertise and its ongoing commitment to regional and global stability would greatly enhance the strategic objectives of C-SIPA.

According to Bahrain News Agency, participants of the meeting reaffirmed their dedication to addressing any external threats to the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of any member parties. This commitment aligns with Article II of the Agreement, which emphasizes the importance of treating external aggression as a serious concern. Furthermore, the members stressed the necessity of collaborative efforts to counteract hostile actors and activities that threaten both regional security and international stability.

The discussions also emphasized the pivotal role of C-SIPA as a key platform for enhancing collective security and regional deterrence.
