Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, a new administrative facility at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) was inaugurated, coinciding with celebrations marking the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the BDF.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, who unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the opening of the facility and was briefed on its departments, facilities, and equipment.
The Minister of Defence Affairs commended the continuous support of His Majesty the King, the ongoing follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the support of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, in advancing the military and administrative capabilities of the BDF and providing modern infrastructure across its units.
