UAE President Welcomes Delegates at Arab Meeting for Young Leaders During World Governments Summit 2026

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received the delegation participating in the Arab Meeting for Young Leaders, held as part of the activities of the World Governments Summit 2026, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. The delegation included Aymen Tawfeeq Al Moayed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports; Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs; along with a number of ministers, senior officials, and young leaders from various Arab countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness expressed hope that the discussions would result in outcomes and insights that contribute to strengthening the role of Arab youth and supporting their future aspirations. His Highness underlined that the vision of the United Arab Emirates places youth empowerment among its top priorities, through equipping young people with future skills, expanding opportunities available to them, and strengthening their presence across various domains of national work.

His Highness emphasised that investment in youth goes beyond academic education to include the promotion of values and principles that serve as a safeguard for societies and a foundation for their stability. On their part, members of the delegation commended the United Arab Emirates' model in supporting young talents, opening promising horizons for them, and expanding opportunities for their empowerment. They also lauded the vision of His Highness the President, which places youth at the forefront of development priorities and national orientations towards the future.
