UAE President Receives Indian External Affairs Minister to Discuss Strategic Partnership

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, to discuss ways to enhance the comprehensive strategic and economic partnership between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, both leaders reviewed developments in the Middle East and their implications for regional and international security and stability. The discussions included the impact on maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy. They also addressed the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians and infrastructure in the UAE and neighboring countries, emphasizing that such actions violate sovereignty and international law.

The Indian Minister expressed his country's complete solidarity with the UAE in its efforts to defend itself and safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. He highlighted the longstanding relations and mutual interests shared by the two countries and their peoples.
