Manama: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted a reception to commemorate the 54th UAE National Day. The event witnessed the participation of key figures including Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, along with the rulers of the Emirates, expressing wishes for the UAE's continued progress. He reflected on the UAE's founding journey led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and other rulers, which laid the foundation for a modern and strong state with a clear vision for development. This vision has positioned the UAE as a regional and global leader in sustainable development, innovation, economic diversification, and humanitarian efforts.
The Foreign Minister underlined National Day as a celebration of unity and cooperation, which has enabled the UAE to emerge as a significant force on the regional and international stage. The UAE has actively promoted security, stability, tolerance, and openness, fostering balanced and productive relations with countries worldwide. Dr. Al Zayani expressed Bahrain's pride in its longstanding relationship with the UAE, describing it as a model partnership grounded in decades of cooperation and shared history under the leadership of His Majesty the King and HH the UAE President.
Dr. Al Zayani further highlighted the continuous development and close coordination in bilateral relations across various domains such as political, economic, security, and development. He reiterated the commitment of both nations to strengthen their strategic partnership, which benefits both countries and supports regional stability and prosperity.
Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the UAE to Bahrain, expressed pride in the robust ties between the two countries and emphasized the UAE's dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation across all sectors. Ambassador Al Ameri noted that the theme for this year's 54th UAE National Day is "United," symbolizing the unity and values of cooperation inherent in the Emirati society since the country's inception.
He highlighted the UAE's remarkable journey, guided by insightful leadership and determination, establishing the union as a model of development and progress. This journey has placed people at the center of national development. The ambassador also outlined the UAE's transformative initiatives in economic development, sustainability, space exploration, clean energy, and artificial intelligence, positioning the nation as a leader in global innovation.
Ambassador Al Ameri emphasized that these accomplishments result from a strategic vision focusing on leadership, resource utilization, and investment in people and knowledge, transforming the UAE into a global hub for innovation and growth.
