Abu Dhabi: The UAE and Sweden have formalized two significant agreements to enhance cooperation in judicial and legal matters. These agreements, signed on Wednesday, focus on the extradition of criminals and mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, marking a step forward in the judicial collaboration between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreements were signed by Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, UAE’s Minister of Justice, and Gunnar Strömmer, the Swedish Minister for Justice. The signing ceremony was attended by delegations from both countries, highlighting the importance of this bilateral cooperation.
During the event, Al Nuaimi expressed his appreciation for the strong relations between the UAE and Sweden, emphasizing the commitment to further enhance ties through judicial and legal collaboration.
