UAE and Korea Strengthen Strategic Partnership with Multiple MoUs

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, witnessed the exchange of several memoranda of understanding and frameworks aimed at enhancing the Special Strategic Partnership between the two countries, during the Korean President's state visit to the UAE.

According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides exchanged a wide range of documents during the ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, reflecting the deepening cooperation between the two nations in key sectors including artificial intelligence, space, nuclear energy, biohealth, intellectual property, and economic collaboration.

The signed documents included a Strategic Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Framework and a second memorandum of understanding in the same field. The two sides also exchanged a cooperation project between the UAE Space Agency and the Korea Aerospace Administration, in addition to a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation in the field of biohealth.

The ceremony also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the administration and operation of the UAE-Korea Economic Cooperation Committee, a cooperation framework in the field of intellectual property, and a partnership agreement to enhance cooperation in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, and access to global markets.

These agreements represent a new boost to the Special Strategic Partnership between the two countries, supporting innovation, technology, energy, and healthcare, and opening broader prospects for future joint cooperation.
