Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced that air defence systems successfully intercepted 20 ballistic missiles and 37 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeting the UAE.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the total number of threats intercepted by UAE air defences since the start of the Iranian attacks has reached 398 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,872 UAVs. The ministry reported that the attacks resulted in the deaths of two members of the UAE Armed Forces while performing their national duty, in addition to the death of a Moroccan civilian contracted by the Armed Forces, as well as eight civilian fatalities of various nationalities.
It added that a total of 178 people of multiple nationalities were injured, including Bahraini nationals, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate and severe. The Armed Forces affirmed their continued readiness to confront all threats and safeguard the country's security and stability.
