Manama: Sean S.M. Sobers, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, visited the Al Madar Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The visit took place in the presence of Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations, and Salman Hassan Al Jalahma, Chief of the Americas Affairs. During the visit, Ali Khalid Al Araifi, Director of the Centre, provided a briefing on the Centre's mandate. The Centre focuses on monitoring regional and global news and developments, preparing analytical reports, and conducting political analyses of regional and international events and positions. These activities are designed to support the foreign-policy objectives of the Kingdom of Bahrain on both regional and global fronts.
Minister Sobers expressed his appreciation for the work of the Al Madar Centre, highlighting its significant contribution to Bahrain's diplomatic efforts. He extended his wishes for continued success to the Centre and its entire staff.
