Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed highlighted Bahrain's strong ties with Saudi Arabia and its commitment to enhancing cooperation in transport and logistics, focusing on land, sea, and air infrastructure development to support both countries' economic visions.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministers discussed economic integration, innovation, and technology in transport, as well as developments on railway projects and the King Hamad Causeway. They also explored means to enhance connectivity and logistics services to boost trade and tourism. On his part, Al Jasser emphasised his commitment to expanding strategic cooperation in transport infrastructure to support sustainable development.
