Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Deemah bint Yahya Al Yahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO). The minister underscored Bahrain's commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnership with the DCO. He highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise among member states to develop the telecommunications and information technology sector, support the digital economy, and coordinate joint efforts. The discussions took place as the organisation prepared to hold its fourth General Assembly in Jordan on February 19.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Yahya commended Bahrain's support as a founding member of the DCO and its firm commitment to advancing the organisation's goals. She underscored Bahrain's dedication to developing multilateral international cooperation towards an inclusive and sustainable global digital economy.
