Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, held a meeting with Silvio Schembri, Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, focusing on efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Bahrain and Malta.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion centered around opportunities to enhance cooperation in the fields of transportation and telecommunications. The two ministers explored shared investment prospects and the exchange of expertise to support mutual interests.
Dr. Al Khalifa highlighted Bahrain’s determination to broaden cooperation with Malta, with particular focus on digital transformation initiatives and the development of transport infrastructure. Meanwhile, Minister Schembri acknowledged the strengthening ties between Bahrain and Malta, expressing Malta’s interest in deepening the partnership through collaborative initiatives that contribute to the economic development of both countries.
