Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, participated in Tree Week activities by planting a tree as part of the Ministry of Tourism and Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority's participation in the national event.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035 as part of the Kingdom's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
