Manama: Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, met with a delegation of Russian businesswomen during their visit to Bahrain. Ahlam Janahi, Chairperson of Bahrain Businesswomen Society (BBS), was present. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening tourism investment ties, with both sides agreeing to maintain coordination through their embassies to advance business tourism, exhibitions, and conferences. Al Sairafi highlighted the importance of enhancing Bahrain-Russia collaboration in tourism and economic development. She emphasised the role of businesswomen in driving strategic partnerships that attract investment, foster economic growth, and deepen bilateral relations. The minister also underscored the significance of tourism as a key pillar of Bahrain's economic diversification efforts, praising initiatives that position Bahrain as a leading destination for tourism and investment. She expressed optimism that the visit would encourage quality investments and strength en sustainable cooperation between the two countries. The Russian delegation welcomed the opportunity to build stronger ties. They expressed their aspiration to foster enduring partnerships that contribute to economic and tourism growth for both nations.
