Manama, Mar.1 (BNA): Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi today met The Chairman of the Airports Council International (ACI) Oman Airports Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed Al Hosni.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the hosting by the Bahrain Airport Company of the 67th meeting of the Airports Council International,on March 3-5.
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) CEO Dr. Nasser Ali Qaidi, Bahrain Airports Company CEO Mohammed Youssef Albinfalah, Luis Felipe, Director of ACI, and Stefano Baronchi, General Manager of ACI Asia Pacific also attended the meeting
Al-Sairafi welcomed the participants in the 67th meeting of the Airports Council International, stressing Bahrain’s success in hosting this event, which reflects its standing as a major destination for specialized international conferences and exhibitions.
She noted the Kingdom’s active presence. In international institutions and organizations concerned with organizing and developing the travel and tourism industry in the region and the world
She affirmed the ministry and BTEA’s readiness to activate cooperation with the Airports Council International within the framework of the link between the tourism s and the air transport sectors
She underscored the importance of exchanging international knowledge and expertise in various fields such as environmental and economic sustainability.
