Manama: Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, welcomed Her Highness Hujaija bint Jaifar bin Saif Al Said, CEO of the Bahraini-Omani Entrepreneurs Association, alongside Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Chairman of the association's Board of Directors, and its members. The meeting marked a significant step in fostering economic and tourism collaborations between Bahrain and Oman.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister congratulated the delegation on the association's establishment, emphasizing the crucial role of joint cooperation in driving tourism and economic initiatives. Al Sairafi highlighted the enduring relations between the two nations, underscoring the commitment to enhance cooperation, with tourism as a key economic driver.
Minister Al Sairafi further discussed the importance of civil society institutions in promoting bilateral cooperation. She called attention to the potential for organizing events and exhibitions, joint promotional activities, and enhancing intra-tourism to showcase the tourism potential of Bahrain and Oman.
She also reiterated Bahrain's dedication to collaborating with Omani entities in the exhibitions and conferences sector, aiming to share expertise, enhance joint opportunities, and achieve mutual objectives. Her Highness Hujaija bint Jaifar bin Saif Al Said expressed pride in the strong ties between Bahrain and Oman and praised the Ministry of Tourism's initiatives to broaden bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
