Manama: The Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has announced that the selection period for tour operators for pilgrims accepted for the 1447 AH / 2026 Hajj season will take place from November 2 to 9, 2025. This period is crucial for those who have received a provisional acceptance via text message, as it allows them to choose their preferred tour operators.
According to Bahrain News Agency, eligibility to select a tour operator is limited to individuals who have been notified of their provisional acceptance based on priority and order. These accepted pilgrims are encouraged to directly contact accredited tour operators to review available offers. They should inquire about package details, services, and pricing, and confirm their choice by paying 150 dinars through the electronic platform within the designated timeframe. Failing to complete this process will result in the cancellation of their acceptance.
The committee has also emphasized the availability of detailed information about tour packages and prices on the electronic Hajj platform. It has reiterated the importance for tour operators to comply strictly with advertising guidelines to ensure that all promotional materials are clear, comprehensive, transparent, and credible. This is to ensure fairness and to protect the rights of the pilgrims.
