Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Iraq, Hamid bin Ahmed Aidaroos, on the occasion of the end of tenure.
According to the statement, the President stressed: ‘The importance of raising the levels of cooperation between the two countries in a way that strengthens bilateral relations between the two brotherly peoples, praising the role of the Sultanate of Oman in supporting issues of regional security and enhancing stability among the countries of the region.’
The President instructed the Ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and Crown Prince Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tariq, and his wishes for good health and wellness to them, and to the Omani people further progress and prosperity, appreciating the efforts made by the Ambassador throughout his work in Iraq, and wishing him success in his future tasks.
The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman expressed his thanks and a
ppreciation to the President of the Republic for his interest and support for developing Iraqi-Omani relations, wishing the Iraqi people further progress, prosperity and well-being.
