The occupation arrests a young man and wounds another with bullets in Beit Ummar

Hebron – Ma’an – Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the town of Beit Ummar, and wounded another young man with live bullets in the thigh, wounding him moderately.

Media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that the occupation forces stormed the Al-Musrara area in the town. The raid continued for 3 hours, and the soldiers raided the house of Rabie Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Ayyash, 24 years old, and searched the house thoroughly before arresting him.

Awad added that confrontations broke out between young men and the occupation forces during their withdrawal, resulting in the injury of the young man. He was transferred by Red Crescent ambulance in Beit Ummar to a hospital in Hebron. Dozens also suffered from suffocation and were treated in the field.

Awad explained that the occupation forces closed the Al-Musrara area, impeding students’ access to their schools and delaying them from taking exams.
