The National Security Agents Council holds its session headed by Al-Araji


The National Security Agents Council held its eighth session for the year 2024, headed by National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji.

According to the Chancellery’s statement today, the Council discussed, in the presence of its members, the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them.

The Council discussed (the National Strategy for Integrated Border Management in Iraq 2024-2028), which was approved and submitted to the National Security Council for approval.

The session also witnessed the presentation and discussion of a draft (a memorandum of understanding for security cooperation between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Interior of the State of Libya), which was approved and the Minister of Interior was authorized to negotiate and sign.
