Bangkok: His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, welcomed Khalil Yaqoub Al Khayyat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Thailand, marking the commencement of his duties in the country.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Al Khayyat conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand and to Prime Minister Charnvirakul. The greetings also included wishes for Thailand's continued progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister Charnvirakul underlined the Thai government's intent to enhance cooperation between Thailand and Bahrain in areas of mutual interest. He expressed his hopes for the Ambassador's success in his diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Al Khayyat expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations between Bahrain and Thailand, noting their growth in various domains. He reiterated his commitment to further advancing these ties to benefit both nations.
