Telephone Call Highlights Security Concerns Between Bahrain and Cyprus

Manama: A telephone call was held between Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Tassos Tsezonis, the National Security Advisor of Cyprus.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during the call, the latest developments in the region concerning Iran's attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and other Arab and international countries were reviewed. Both sides reiterated their condemnation of these attacks and the ongoing escalation, emphasizing that such actions violate state sovereignty and international laws.

The discussion also highlighted the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus and their development in various fields. They explored ways to further enhance partnerships and bilateral cooperation to serve mutual interests.
