Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, UAE Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in space-related fields, discussing recent developments and key achievements by both countries in these key sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the UAE’s participation in the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), highlighting the UAE’s commitment to the event’s success. He commended the UAE’s leadership in space and technological innovation, noting these accomplishments as a source of pride for the Arab region and a motivator for further scientific and technical progress. He emphasised the importance of enhancing Bahrain-UAE cooperation in space, fostering knowledge exchange to support both nations’ future visions.
Dr. Al Falasi commended the strong ties between Bahrain and the
UAE, noting that their bilateral cooperation reflects deep historical and social bonds. He affirmed the UAE’s commitment to participating in every BIAS, which serves as a key international exhibition and interactive platform for expertise exchange in transportation and aviation. He conveyed his wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
