Tamkeen Supports Employment and Career Development of 36 Bahrainis at Sarens Nass Middle East

Manama: The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) announced its support for the employment and career development of 36 Bahrainis at Sarens Nass Middle East, a leading Bahrain-based provider of crane services, heavy lifting, and transport solutions. This initiative aligns with Tamkeen's efforts to bolster the employment and career advancement of Bahraini talent within the private sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this support is in line with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, which aim to enhance the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector. These priorities focus on equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development, prioritizing enterprise growth, digitization, sustainability, and supporting the ecosystem surrounding the labor market and private sector.

Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), expressed pride in supporting Bahraini companies like Sarens Nass Middle East, which has utilized Tamkeen's programs since 2017 to hire, train, and reward local talent. He emphasized Tamkeen's commitment to advancing Bahraini employment and career development through strategic initiatives and partnerships, aiming to enhance their career prospects and leadership opportunities, ensuring they remain the preferred choice for employers.

Al Hanoof Nass, Regional Director at Sarens Nass Middle East, noted that Tamkeen's programs align closely with the company's strategy to employ and develop national talent. Since 2017, Sarens Nass has actively used these programs to train and qualify Bahraini employees. Currently, 78% of the workforce comprises Bahraini nationals, reflecting the company's commitment to fostering a professional and empowering work environment.

Nass highlighted the importance Sarens Nass places on developing Bahraini abilities by strengthening their technical skills and providing the necessary tools to adapt to changing market needs. She remarked that investing in human capital is essential for the growth and sustainability of the private sector, aligning with Bahrain's broader economic strategy of prioritizing workforce development and skills enhancement to meet employer and market demands.

Sarens Nass Middle East was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Bahrain-based Nass Group and Belgium-based Sarens NV. The company provides innovative and integrated solutions in crane services, heavy lifting, and transportation across the Middle East, with regional offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and the UAE. Tamkeen has launched a range of programs aimed at supporting the employment and career development of national talent, making Bahrainis the preferred choice for employment and positioning the private sector as the engine of economic growth in the Kingdom.
