Tamkeen Opens Applications for Governance Programme in Partnership with EMIC and INSEAD.


Manama: The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced the opening of applications for its Governance Programme, a collaborative offering with EMIC Training, a Bahrain-based professional and academic training institute that is part of the ELM Education Fund under Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, and the prestigious international business school INSEAD. This programme forms a key component of the Executive Leadership Training Initiative, spearheaded by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamkeen. The initiative is designed to enhance the leadership capabilities of Bahraini professionals, providing them with high-quality growth opportunities.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Governance Programme is specifically tailored for Board members and C-level executives, equipping them with essential skills to navigate the challenges inherent in their roles.
The training, delivered by INSEAD, focuses on structuring governance for corporate performance, effective Board leadership, and comprehending key governance standards. The initiative highlights Tamkeen’s commitment to promoting a robust culture of corporate governance in Bahrain and empowering qualified Bahraini talent to ascend to leadership positions on various boards of directors within the Kingdom.
