Manama: The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has announced the graduation of the second cohort of female leaders from the Accelerating Women's Leadership Programme. This initiative is part of the Executive Leadership Training programmes introduced by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aiming to provide quality opportunities for Bahraini talent.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the graduation ceremony celebrated 27 Bahraini female leaders who successfully completed the intensive training programme. This cohort is part of a larger initiative targeting 90 Bahraini women, with participants hailing from a variety of sectors and company sizes, including start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, family businesses, and large corporations.
The programme, held in collaboration with HEC Paris, a renowned institution in business education and academic research, is designed to equip Bahraini female leaders with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in leadership roles within Bahrain's private sector. It focuses on advanced research and best practices in leadership development, covering topics such as navigating complex leadership environments, influencing and persuasion skills, problem-solving, and an objective-driven leadership approach.
Aligning with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, the programme aims to enhance the competitiveness and status of Bahraini citizens in the private sector. It seeks to equip them with the necessary skills for career advancement, promote institutional growth, digitisation, sustainability, and support the ecosystem to improve the labour market and private sector efficiency.
