Damascus: Ahmad Al Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, received Ant³nio Guterres, United Nations Secretary-General, and the accompanying delegation at the People's Palace in Damascus.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed means to enhance cooperation between Syria and the United Nations in the humanitarian and development domains, as well as support for early recovery and reconstruction efforts. Both sides also reaffirmed respect for Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
