Manama: Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (EDB), received Asmaa Shalabi, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain. Minister Alkhulaif congratulated Shalabi on her appointment and wished her success in her new role.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized the pivotal role these partnerships play in supporting national initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive growth and achieving sustainable development. The meeting discussed key priority topics and explored opportunities to further enhance ongoing cooperation and strategic partnerships between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UNDP, with the goal of accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals.
On her part, Shalabi expressed her aspirations to strengthen the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UNDP to drive progress on key development initiatives.
