Sustainable Development and Industry Ministers Attend WestPoint Home Bahrain’s New Production Line Inauguration

Manama: WestPoint Home Bahrain has officially inaugurated a new production line at its textile factory located in the Al Mazraa Industrial Zone in Askar. The event was marked by the presence of Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, the Minister of Sustainable Development, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Elizabeth Litchfield, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Fakhro emphasized the Ministry of Industry and Commerce's dedication to bolstering the industrial sector, which is viewed as a fundamental component of sustainable economic development. He highlighted that the introduction of the new production line underscores the robust strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States and signifies the ongoing growth in industrial and investment cooperation between the two nations.

Minister Fakhro praised the advanced technologies integrated into the production line, underscoring its significance in enhancing Bahrain's industrial infrastructure. He noted that this development boosts the capacity of national factories to supply high-quality products to local, regional, and global markets.

The expansion is in line with the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022-2026) and represents a noteworthy advancement for WestPoint Home Bahrain. As a leading US industrial investment in the Kingdom, this initiative strengthens Bahrain's standing as a regional industrial hub and supports economic diversification through international partnerships.
