Manama: The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) confirmed that air quality readings remained within normal limits, following the Iranian attack targeting one facility and operational units at another in the early morning hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the council said continuous, round-the-clock monitoring remains in place, noting that specialised teams conducted a comprehensive field survey of the affected sites and nearby residential areas, with results confirming normal air quality levels.
The council explained that monitoring is part of ongoing precautionary measures, coordinated with relevant authorities under approved emergency plans to track emission indicators and maintain environmental control. Monitoring stations across all governorates continue to operate efficiently, providing regular data updates and detecting any potential changes.
The SCE urged the public to rely on official sources and avoid spreading rumours or unverified information, confirming that field monitoring will continue and updates will be issued as needed.
