Manama: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, received Fawzi bin Ahmed Kanoo, Deputy Group Chairman of Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri praised Fawzi bin Ahmed Kanoo for his contributions to charitable and social initiatives. He acknowledged the Kanoo family's long-standing commitment to philanthropy, which focuses on improving quality of life and supporting community development.
Shaikh Dr. Al Hajri also highlighted the recent foundation laying of the Yusuf bin Ahmed bin Ali Kanoo Mosque in Salman City. He described this project as a significant Islamic landmark that reflects Bahrain's heritage.
Fawzi bin Ahmed Kanoo, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the Sunni Endowments Council's dedication to mosque construction and endowment management. He commended the council's commitment to working collaboratively with donors.
