Manama:Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the successful organization of the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia. The event was held with the support of His Majesty the King and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman emphasized that this achievement adds to Bahrain's track record in motor racing and highlights the Kingdom's esteemed position in hosting international sporting events. This success is attributed to the vision of His Majesty the King, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman also praised the event's organization outside Bahrain, showcasing the expertise and capabilities of Bahraini professionals in managing international sports competitions.
