Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dinah received the Representatives Council’s Public Utilities and Environment Committee member Hamad Ahmed Al Kooheji.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the SCE and the Council.
Bin Dinah praised the executive and legislative branches’ partnership in promoting the development and democracy process and serving the country and citizens under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He hailed the lawmaker’s keenness to enhance bilateral efforts to meet the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals.
Al Kooheji expressed his appreciation of Bin Dinah’s role and the SCE’s efforts in preserving the environment and developing strategies and policies to monitor commercial, industrial and investment projects related to climate and environment in Bahrain.
