Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam sent two cables of condolences to Egypt’s House of Representatives Speaker Dr. Hanafi Jabali and Senate President Abdulwahab Abdulrazzak and House of Representatives Speaker Dr. Hanafi Jabali over the victims of the terror attack which targeted a security checkpoint in the Governorate of Ismailia in north-eastern Egypt, leaving a number of casualties.
The Speaker strongly condemned the terrorist attack and reiterated Bahrain’s solidarity with Egypt in its war on the scourge of terror, backing all measures to maintain its security and stability and protect its people.
In the cables, Al Musallam stressed the need to harness all parliamentary and international efforts to stamp out terrorism and dry up the sources of its funding.
The Speaker also extended a cable of condolences to Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Yaser Mohammed Shaaban.
