Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam commended the royal keenness to press ahead with the comprehensive development process. He praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to ensure success and distinction of the parliamentary work in the kingdom.
Al Musallam expressed most sincere thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King, Crown Prince, on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the National Assembly building. He described it as a civilizational edifice and a witness to the march of growth and development in the kingdom.
The Speaker praised all efforts in building the National Assembly according to a unique architectural design reflecting the inherent Bahraini heritage and culture. He also asserted keenness on boosting cooperation between the legislative and executive branches and achieving citizens’ aspirations.
