Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Oman's Minister of Finance. The meeting highlighted the depth of Bahraini-Omani relations and the strong ties between the two countries, with both sides affirming their commitment to expanding economic, investment, and trade cooperation. Discussions also focused on strengthening private-sector partnerships and supporting joint initiatives through legislative frameworks that serve mutual interests.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both officials praised the steady development of the financial, economic, and investment sectors in Bahrain and Oman, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation in line with Oman Vision 2040 and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. They also stressed the role of parliamentary engagement in advancing strategic partnerships and achieving shared development goals, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Sultan of Oman.
