Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, praised the Interior Ministry's efforts in strengthening community partnership, reinforcing national loyalty, and embedding these values as a fundamental part of Bahrain's social fabric. He emphasised that these efforts align with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, marking Community Partnership Day on March 18, Al Musallam extended his congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, commending the ministry's commitment to enhancing security, fostering community engagement, and implementing strategic national initiatives.
He highlighted the ministry's role in advancing the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism "Bahrainouna", as well as its preparations for the Bahrain Identity Forum, aimed at strengthening national identity, protecting cultural heritage, and promoting Bahraini values.
The Speaker reaffirmed parliamentary support for national programmes that instil patriotism, uphold the principles of law and order, and encourage public participation in community initiatives. He also praised the ministry's approach to collaborative governance, underscoring its efforts in digital transformation and modern security strategies to enhance social stability.
