Representatives Council Speaker, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, following the statement issued by the Government Executive Committee in its meeting today. She stressed that the current phase requires concerted efforts and strict adherence to the COVID-19 precautionary measures. She described the royal directives of putting all the state’s capabilities at the service of Team Bahrain, under the leadership of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as an incentive to overcome the pandemic.
The Representatives Council Speaker commended the leadership of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Team Bahrain, pointing out Bahrain’s success over the past period to prove its ability to surmount hardships and transform challenges into gains. She expressed thanks to the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus and the dedicated frontliners for their sacrifice to serve the nation.
The Representatives Council Speaker underscored the importance of unifying national efforts, devoting all capabilities, boosting cooperation between the executive and legislative branches and following the wise approach of HM the King to reach forward-looking goals in handling the exceptional circumstances. She pledged full-fledged support to all decisions announced by the national medical team to ensure the safety of all. She extended condolences to the families of coronavirus victims, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the deceased with mercy and the infected people with a speedy recovery.
The Representatives Council Speaker called on all to get information from official sources and avoid disseminating rumours. She praised awareness of the Bahraini people and their keenness on social security, safety and stability.
