Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, sent a cable to Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates. Al Musallam expressed the Council's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilian sites and facilities in the UAE, describing them as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability, and a flagrant violation of the principles of good neighbourliness, international laws and conventions, UN Security Council Resolution (2817), and the declared ceasefire.
According to Bahrain News Agency, he affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security and stability, and protect its achievements, in light of the close historical fraternal ties between the leadership and peoples of the two countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The Speaker stressed that the security of the UAE is an integral part of the security of the Kingdom, affirming that any threat to the UAE requires a unified stance and full solidarity in confronting all challenges.
