Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, visited the Camping Service Centre, accompanied by Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor. During the visit, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali was informed about the statistics and outcomes of the organisational, security, and environmental initiatives undertaken this season.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the camping season saw the registration of 3,172 camps and the utilisation of e-services by over 75,000 individuals. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the unwavering support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. These efforts were instrumental in achieving a successful camping season, marked by high standards of security, organisation, and safety.
His Highness also recognised the diligent oversight by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. This oversight was crucial in organising the season and ensuring the provision of all necessary services. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali further stressed the importance for campers and visitors to abide by the established rules and guidelines throughout the season, which concludes on February 20. This adherence is vital for ensuring public safety, as well as the protection of the environment and wildlife.
