Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, recently welcomed a group of Members of Parliament (MPs) and residents from the Southern Governorate. This meeting was part of ongoing efforts to foster direct communication with the public.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali reiterated his dedication to engaging with citizens and maintaining national values. He stressed that this initiative aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and is supported by the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The aim is to deliver comprehensive development services throughout the region.
The Governor underlined that the Southern Governorate remains committed to conducting direct meetings and field visits to address residents' needs across various sectors. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to collaborate with relevant authorities on development, service, and social projects to enhance service quality and ensure sustainable development in all areas of the governorate.
During the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali listened to the needs of residents as presented by MPs and gathered feedback related to security, services, and social concerns from the public. He stressed the importance of coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure that residents' needs are adequately addressed.
The MPs and residents praised the Governor's consistent communication and proactive approach in attending to development needs across the governorate. They also appreciated the effective coordination efforts by the governorate with all concerned authorities.
