Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired the sixth meeting of the Coordination Council for 2021.
The session which was held remotely via videoconference was also attended by Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Isa Thamer Al Dosari and members representing competent authorities.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to meet citizens’ needs.
The session focused on seventeen projects which will be carried out in the Southern Governorate to upgrade infrastructure and revamp roads in residential areas.
The Governor was updated about planned projects to develop the sanitary rain drainage networks, in addition to efforts to tackle the issue of stray dogs in the area.
